Ruben is from the original sculpt “Ruby” who I have styled as a little boy.  He has an open mouth , light milia (milk spots), truely mono-rooted hair,  brows, lanugo and lashes in a mix of alpaca and hand dyed mohair.  His eyes are movie grade vitality eyes custom made in glass which will maintain a perfect “wet” shine forever. 

Being a partial silicone, his torso is made of doe suede and filled with silicone beads giving him the feel of a full silicone squishiness when you hold him. 

Ruben is destined for the Peterborough doll show.  If he is not purchased at the show then he will be made available to those on my waiting list worldwide. A layaway may be available, subject to terms and conditions. 

His hair is “true monorooted” meaning there is 1 hair in each spot, just like real hair. I only use the finest quality mohair for my work. This is a Mocha colour by HP Babylocks. To show the fine work on the hair, I have zoomed in even further for you to see every detail in these images.
